Diagnosis makes up an important part of screen repair. The diagnosis alone is £20
or free when carried out as part of a repair.
PROCEDURE
In order to book a repair, either phone, text or use the web-form on the ‘contact’ page to tell us about
your problem. A rough estimate can usually be given straight away for most Laptop models. The faulty Laptop can be collected (usually within 24 hrs) and returned once repaired.
Some laptops of the same model can be manufactured to use different screens which can vary in price. There is often no way of telling which screen a laptop computer takes until it is disassembled. Therefore, prices estimated can vary from the final price. This is mainly an issue with older laptops.
If there is any difference between the estimated cost and the likely cost once the
laptop has been properly diagnosed, we contact you prior to repair. At this point
you may choose not to go ahead with the repair and pay only £20 for the diagnosis
and report.
